Who Pix is

Pix is Starbreed’s marker-and-satchel specialist: she makes hidden enemies honest and deletes escorts that Tanya would rather ram. English VO is Gina Galore. Progress reports famously split her conversations across Affinity 0 / 25 / 50 / 75 gates, so she is a good character to learn the dating-sim calendar on after Lana. This page stays spoiler-safe on adult content.

Pix is optional romance and not optional for several Data Chip verbs. If a hint says “find the things you cannot see,” she is usually the first name to slot.

Unlock

Pix joins in the mid-campaign band once jungle / cavern stages start hiding clusters off-camera. Follow Levels. She is a full party ally with active plus passive, not a boss-only voice.

Combat kit

Active — satchels / high-thrust attacks. Pix’s buttons cost a lot of Thrust. Spray early and you detonate the group you needed for a later point spike—especially in her Trial. Space shots. Let the passive farm bonus value while you conserve W-boost from Controls. Assertion recharge from Resolve and Assertion is the difference between “Pix feels unusable” and “Pix deletes escorts.”

Passive — highlight. Purple claw clusters and off-path monsters become readable. On Catiya 1, the chip wants every purple claw dead, including a pack hiding behind the building near the first medkit. Equip Pix so the passive marks them, then send MITE Drones through the wall. The chip spawns as you approach the boss, not at the first kill.

Molbon 1 wants Pix’s active on five golems you can actually shoot—save the satchel for thick crowds in the first half. Raptura 1 escorts can be satchel-cleared instead of Tanya-rammed. Raptura 2 is crate destruction (carts do not count)—Pix helps only if you aim at boxes.

Trial gold

Pix gold is 270, second only to Rooster’s 300 among the listed crew trials. Community notes call her Trial relatively easy on execution if you do not blow the later groups with early shots. Play safe, lean on the passive, and treat thrust as a budget. Full numbers: Trial Scores.

Two hits still cost 10 each. Pix fails gold more often to greed than to aim.

Finale and party comps

Finale2 safe shells list Pix or Lana beside mandatory Siren. Pix is the delete flex when you already understand satchel spacing. She is not a heal. Do not bench Siren to “make room for Pix damage.”

On Allies Tier List, Pix is A-tier information plus burst, B-tier if your Assertion is empty. Neural Link from Tanya’s shop can keep her highlight passive in the mix even when she is not in the current trio—see Tanya.

Affinity routing

Mark 0 / 25 / 50 / 75 / 100 on Affinity Checklist. Because her talks historically split across those gates, skipping hub visits after a jungle clear is how Pix stalls at 25 while Lana sits at 90. Field her on chip-replay nights so combat practice and bond progress share a session.

Common mistakes

Dumping all satchels on the first visible pack, using Pix as a Finale2 healer, and ignoring highlight on Catiya 1 because “I already shot the obvious claws.” The chip is the ones behind the building.

Satchel budget drill

Enter Molbon 1 with Pix and allow two actives in the first half—the five-golem chip wants those presses on dense clumps, not the first lonely target. Thrust remaining at the boss door means you budgeted. Empty at pack two means Assertion was low or your finger was bored. Chip nights and Affinity nights can share Pix; romance still needs hub talks.
