Starbreed Endings Guide
Spoiler-aware finale routing
Spoiler warning
This page discusses ending routing for Starbreed’s finale-facing content. We avoid graphic adult detail and heavy plot paragraphs, but even flag names can hint at outcomes. If you want a completely blind Finale, beat the game once, then return.
Starbreed released July 30, 2026 as a single-player title—endings are solo save outcomes, not multiplayer brackets.
What usually gates endings in this genre mix
Without claiming a datamined table for every patch:
- Story stage completion through late planets into Finale (Levels)
- Boss clears including gimmick fights (Bosses)
- Affinity investment with key allies (Affinity, Checklist)
- Aether form / Resolve choices around Female Aether at ~50 Resolve (Aether)
- Completion extras such as Trials and chips that may color post-credits galleries (Impregnation Trials, Data Chips)
Treat in-game finale prompts as authoritative if they disagree with any unofficial guide.
Recommended blind-friendly path
- Finish the main stage chain with a comfort shell (Party Comps).
- Keep at least one deep Affinity relationship progressing so the hub fantasy resolves.
- Decide Male vs Female Aether presentation before the last push.
- Clear Finale.
- Reload or continue for chips, Trials, and alternate flags.
Completionist path
- All major allies to 100 + Trials for EX passives
- Data Chip checklist complete for Pom rewards
- Shop weapons curated (Credits Shop)
- Both Aether forms experienced
- Boss rematches for mastery
- Steam achievement sweep (Achievements) and medal replays (Medals)
Social Media epilogue (spoiler-light)
Late development added a Social Media style epilogue—think “where are they now” feeds rather than a second combat campaign. After Finale, expect character-facing recaps that reflect how you invested bonds, Aether presentation (male/female prompts), and optional pregnancy-related flags without requiring a second full story route. Developer progress reports also described an Aether Profile prompt setup plus notification/message layers for supporting cast. Treat the live UI as truth if labels differ by patch; use this page only as a routing hint that post-credits cleanup is part of the ending fantasy, not an optional appendices folder you can ignore forever.
Visual polish such as exhaustion states on adult scenes (breath, dampened hair, eye bags—not just sweat overlays) shipped as presentation work across the scene graph. That does not change ending flags; it only means late builds look closer to the finished 1.0 presentation documented on Launch Notes.
What we will not do
We will not paste ending scripts, scene-by-scene adult summaries, or “best girl ending ranks.” Use Review for buy/skip context and Patch Notes if finale bugs appear.

Save hygiene before Finale
Duplicate your save if the platform allows manual copies. Try your preferred romance resolution first, then experiment. Starbreed’s adult unlock graph and ending flags are easier to explore when you are not terrified of overwriting the only file.
After an ending, wander the hub before starting a new campaign. Some completion flags and galleries only make sense in post-clear context. Keep Affinity Checklist and Data Chip Checklist nearby for cleanup.
Tone reminder
Endings can be emotional without us spoiling them. If a finale sequence includes adult scenes, the same spoiler-safe rule applies: unlock conditions yes, graphic detail no.
Finale closing note
Backup first, romance second, cleanup third. After any ending, sweep leftover chips and Trials with the tool checklists instead of immediately starting a fresh file. For mechanical prep, lean on Levels and Aether.
Post-credits checklist
After the finale sequence ends, do not immediately new-game. Walk the hub, note any new interface flags, update Affinity Checklist and Data Chip Checklist, and decide whether your next file will chase the other Aether form. If an ending left a story question open, replay the last planet with a different bond leader before reading external spoilers.
Keep this page’s spoiler discipline when talking with friends: share routing advice, not scene scripts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common Starbreed questions.
How many endings does Starbreed have?
Expect multiple finale outcomes influenced by progress and bonds. Check in-game flags after your first clear.
Do I need 100 Affinity for any ending?
Deep bonds often color romance resolutions. Exact requirements are best verified in your build’s finale conditions.
Does Female Aether change endings?
Form choice can route presentation and some content. Unlock it around 50 Resolve if you want that path.
Can I see all endings on one save?
Often via continue/new cycle play. Keep backups before finale experiments.
Are ending spoilers in the Levels page?
Levels stay route-focused. This page is the spoiler-aware one.
Is multiplayer required for a secret ending?
No. The game is single-player only.
